N.O.V.A. Legacy has arrived at Android with impressive graphics

In 2009, Gameloft released N.O.V.A. (Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance), a sci-fi first-person shooter for mobile devices. The game was successful enough to create two sequels. However, the last game in the series, N.O.V.A. 3, was released way back in 2012 and few days back, Gameloft posted a teaser for a new classic sci-fi shooter game called N.O.V.A. Legacy which has been launched on Android with freshly redesigned visuals, a streamlined look, and a refined story. This space adventure has been released on 20^th February. Taking players on a thrilling journey across the galaxy, N.O.V.A Legacy is a rebirth of Gameloft's classic FPS title. For N.O.V.A., Gameloft has opened up a region based beta and from the description on the Play Store; it looks like a compact version of the first chapter found in the N.O.V.A. saga.

The game has come with 20 mb download. The game hasn’t only seen the improvements in visuals, there are many other developments such as, the 19 action packed levels of the story have been refined, the controls are modernized, there is now weapon crafting and upgrades and the real-time multiplayer mode is better than ever. With these all upgrades, N.O.V.A. is going to serve a console-like experience on mobile.

The backdrop of N.O.V.A. is a classic space opera. Humanity has moved off world as the planet struggled to support the ever expanding civilization. Because of this, huge satellites have been built in orbit, and many have moved off world to begin the task of colonizing the galaxy. Set against this, the story of N.O.V.A. Legacy invites you into step in to armoured boots of Captain Kal Wardin. Accompanied by an AI companion, Yelena, you are sent on a mission to stop the threat of the mysterious Xenos. While defeating alien forces, players will experience various game modes: story mode (delve into the plot and fight to uncover the truth about these alien invaders), shadow events (defeat the aliens' Special Forces in challenging limited-time events), and special ops (launch a strategic strike on unique alien formations).
